WHO WE ARE
Industry Simulation Education (InSimEd) is the organization that runs Design Competitions in North America.​
We are a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit, proudly run, staffed, and operated by volunteers.
The InSimEd board comprises educators, competition alumni, and professional engineers, all of whom aim to provide a better education experience for students.
WHY?
We often get asked why we do what we do.
The answer is simple: we believe that students need to learn what it's like to operate in industry (the real-world), long before they get there.
Our events are designed to give students a challenging environment in which to learn the practical realities of various STEM-related fields, all the while supported by industry professionals that students can network with and learn from.
We connect student's aspirations for the future to their studies today.
