Logan Hanssler

Logan found his passion for engineering through competing in InSimEd's events. After participating as a student for two years, he has volunteered for Space Settlement Competitions since 2022. He is currently coordinating all events in the Great Lakes Region.

Logan is an undergraduate student studying molecular engineering and astrophysics at the University of Chicago. He is the project lead for the university's first fully in-house designed satellite, PULSE-A, and he works as a research assistant developing instruments for experimental astrophysics. After graduating from college, Logan plans to pursue a career in research and engineering education.
